AR for Epilepsy prevention

The application, requested by UMC, runs on mobile devices and the Microsoft HoloLens, should be used by caretakers of patients who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy. They can scan a room and make sure it is safe for the patient. The application can detect provocative patterns using the camera. It splits each frame into a predened amount of sub-regions that are each run through our pipeline. This results in a set of values indicating the degrees of provocativity, which are then displayed. The user can save frames that exceed a chosen threshold, for further research purposes.
